Digital Camo Jackets & Parkas
The digital camo jackets & parkas are jackets & parkas featuring a digital camouflage pattern. Jackets & parkas featuring a digital camouflage pattern are the APECS parkas, M65 field coat, ECWCS parkas and APCU rain jackets. The APECS parka features both a digital tiger stripe camouflage and a digital desert camouflage. The APECS (All Purpose Environmental Clothing System) parka was issue instead of the 3rd generation ECWCS parka for use by the US Air Force. The ECWCS (Extended/Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System) parka is part of the ECWCS layering system which was developed in the mid 1980s intended to be worn by military personnel stationed in regions that experience harsh weather conditions. The APCU rain jackets are part of the Advanced Protective Combat Uniforms layering system. The APCU consist of 7 layers is an alternative layering system to the ECWCS laying system. The APCU rain jacket is the 6 layer of the APCU layering system. Proppers digital camo jackets & parkas are commonly referred to as digital jackets, digital camo parkas, digital camouflage jacket, military outerwear, military camouflage jackets, acu digital jacket, abu digital coat, air force jacket, military parka, cold weather jacket, rain jacket, new digital camo jackets, army camo parka, military camo jacket, m65 jacket, ecwcs jacket, ek-wax parka, m-65 coat.

Digital Camo Hats & Caps
The digital camo hats & caps are hats & caps that feature a digital camouflage pattern. The types of hat include an ACU patrol cap, ABU patrol cap, BDU patrol cap and ACU boonie hat. The ACU patrol cap is the standard issue headwear of the US Army, part of the newly designed Army Combat Uniform. The ACU replaced the previous standard uniform used in combat the BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) which was used by the US military since September 1981. The ACU features a new designed camouflage pattern called Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) or ARmy PATtern (ARPAT), UCP is comprised of gray, tan and sage green in a digital pattern. The color black was omitted from the uniform because it is not commonly found in nature and also, when pure black is viewed through night vision goggles it appears excessively dark and creates an undesirable high contrast.
