The Propper US army hats & caps are hats & caps that are standard issues to the US army. The standard issue headwear of the US army is an ACU patrol cap and a boonie hat. No Fly Zone ACU
The No Fly Zone Army Combat Uniform is a uniform worn by the US Army, identical to the ACU in appearance but is treated with a Permethrin coating. Permethrin is an active ingredient that repels most insects including, mosquitoes, flies, chiggers, ants and midges. The No Fly Zone ACU offers 99% protection from bites and stings by these insects for over an 8 hour span when combined with insect repellent applied to exposed skin areas. Flame Resistant ACU
The Flame Resistant ACU is a uniform worn by the US Army, identical to the ACU in appearance but constructed of a flame resistant fabric. The fabric used to construct the FRACU is Defender M, Defender M is a newly created fabric which bears flame resistant properties and is used by the US Army and the US Marine Corps. The fabric is self extinguishing, wont melt or drip and will remain flame resistant, even after a countless amount of washes. The FRACU provides protection from open flames and heat without effecting the comfort level and durability of the uniform. The FRACU can be worn by individuals serving the US Army as an alternative to the regular ACU or the No Fly Zone ACU. ACU Coats
The Propper ACU coat, Army Combat Uniform coat is the newly designed battle uniform coat worn by the US Army. The ACU was picked over previous issued combat uniforms including the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) and the Desert Camouflage Uniforms (DCU) which were once standard uniforms of the US Army in the 1980s and 1990s. The ACU features constructional design changes and a different camouflage patterns that makes it superior to previous standard uniforms. ACU Pants
The Propper ACU pants are pants specifically made to be worn by the US Army as their official pants of the battle uniform. ACU is short for Army Combat Uniform, the new standard battle uniform replacing the old standards, the Battles Dress Uniform (BDU) and the Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU). The ACU completely replaced the BDU in December of 2007 after being introduced in 2004. The standard army issue ACU uses a camouflage pattern called Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) or sometimes commonly referred to as Army ACU digital camouflage and is comprised of the colors slate grey, desert sand and foliage green in a digital pattern.
