The sage green is color is a shade of green, resembling the color of a sage leaf which is a grayish green color. The sage green color is a lighter in color than to the Army OD #7 (olive drab). The 6 Color Color Desert Camouflage is a pattern that was constructed to allow one to blend into the desert and desert like environments. The 6 color desert camouflage is comprised of light tan overlaid with broad swathes of pale olive green, two tone bands of brown and clusters of black on white scattered all over.
