Sage Green
The sage green is color is a shade of green, resembling the color of a sage leaf which is a grayish green color. The sage green color is a lighter in color than to the Army OD #7 (olive drab). During WWII a new work uniform was introduced to the US Marine Corps and was sage green. The first issuance of the US Marine Corps sage green work uniform was in the summer of 1941. One of the US Air Force flight suits is sage green in color for those who are authorized to wear them. 6 Color Desert Camouflage
The 6 Color Color Desert Camouflage is a pattern that was constructed to allow one to blend into the desert and desert like environments. The 6 color desert camouflage is comprised of light tan overlaid with broad swathes of pale olive green, two tone bands of brown and clusters of black on white scattered all over. The 6 color desert camouflage received the nickname chocolate chip camouflage because it resembled chocolate chip cookie dough. Originally the 6 color desert camouflage was designed in 1962 but did not have military use until 1981 when used as the camouflage pattern for the Desert Battle Dress Uniform, DBDU. The DBDU was issued to a small numbers of soldiers taking part in the biennial Bright Star exercises in Egypt during the 1980s and also by FORSCOM peacekeepers assigned to the Multinational Force and Observers in the Egyptian Sinai Desert. The DBDU was issued to soldiers in large numbers during the Persian Gulf War because it best fit the battle field terrain. After the Gulf War the US Military use of the 6 color desert camouflage uniform wasn’t issued to soldiers for much longer. Other Army’s that use or used the 6 color desert camouflage pattern is Afghanistan, China, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, and much more. The 6 color desert camouflage is commonly referred to as chocolate chip camouflage, cookie dough camouflage, six color desert pattern, desert camo, desert camouflage, chocolate chip camo, chocolate chip desert camo, desert camo pattern, six color desert pattern, 6 color desert pattern, 6 color desert.

M65 Field Coats
The Propper M65 field coat was designed specifically for use by the US military. The M65 field coat was introduced in 1965, replacing the previous standard field coat, the M-1951 field coat. The M65 field coat was commonly worn by troops in the United States Army during the Vietnam War to provide warmth to the troops in the central highlands of South Vietnam. The original M65 field coat was produced in an olive drab color when first issued, today M65 field coats are now produced in popular colors such as woodland camouflage, desert camouflage, tiger stripe camouflage, universal camouflage, black, and navy blue. The M65 field jacket has two large pockets at the hip and two medium sized pockets at the breast to store and transport gear and also a concealed hood with a drawcord that can be stored in the in the collar of the coat. Boonie Hats
The Propper boonie hats are a type of hat featuring a wide brim around the entire hat. The boonie hat was first introduced to the US Armed forces during the Vietnam War, when green berets first started to wear them. The US Army officially issued boonies hats in 1967, called Hat, Jungle, with Insect Net and was issued in the colors olive drab, tiger stripe Camouflage, and ERDL pattern which is identical to woodland camouflage. It is common to see fabric tape sewn around the crown of the boonie hat so additional vegetation can be held and used as camouflage. Straps are often found on boonie hats to secure and fasten the hat on the head. Boonie hats had replaced fatigues caps, which were being worn previous to the Vietnam War. They were and still are being produced with nets to protect the face from being bit by insects. These hats can be seen worn by many people to keep the sun out of their face.
